AFCON 2021: How the Lions met with the Survivors of the Olembe incident

Samuel Eto’o Fils has once again proven that; he is not only a leader but also a father with a heart of gold. The survivors of the Olembe tragedy were at the Olembe stadium today. They took part in the last training session of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon. The Indomitable Lions will be playing tomorrow here at Olembe against the Pharoahs of Egypt.

It was an atmosphere of mutual love, support and appreciation from both parties. The survivors got to see the Lions this close. They profitted of this opportunity to express their love and support to the players of the national team. The team captain Vincent Aboubakar and his squad appreciated their strength and courage. We can only say ‘thank you’, ‘courage’ and ‘more wisdom’ to Samuel Eto’o Fils the president of the Cameroon Football Federation. These ladies have not felt abandoned after the tragic incident which almost claimed their lives. He visited them in the hospital as well.
