AFCON 2021 Framework Agreement signed

TotalEnergies AFCON 2021 Framework Agreement signed.

Yes Cameroon is ready. Today is one of those days we have all been waiting for. We can shout without any fear of contradiction that the towns of Yaounde, Douala, Garoua, Buea, Bafoussam and Limbe will witness an increase in population and economy come January 9th.

Cameroon is the lone host country of the 33rd edition of the African Cup of Nations football festival.  The framework Agreement has been signed and sealed today at the Yaounde Multi-purpose Sports Complex. Cameroon now knows the rules and regulations of the game; rights and duties related to the organisation of this continental saga.

It is worthy to note that the signing of this important document, earlier announced by the Minister of Sports and Physical Education, President of the Local Organizing Committee of the AFCON, has been done just few months to the Opening Match which will take place at the Olembe Stadium in Yaounde.

CAF has said YES, Cameroon is capable and will host this football festival which will take place between the 9th of January to the 6th of February 2022. Key personalities signed this Framework Agreement, witnessed by football lovers and high personalities of this sports discipline.
