A wind of Change at FECAFOOT

On Friday and Saturday, 26th and 27th of August 2022, FECAFOOT had her first General Assembly at the Best Western Hotel in Douala. This meeting comes as a relief, to restore, restrict and restructure the activities and projects of FECAFOOT.

A wind of change after every odds and storms, Samuel Eto’o Fils is confirmed the legitimate president of this federation . Football must not be played and decided upon in courtrooms but on the pitch to ensure evolution and perfect renumeration for all the parties concerned.

Presidents of clubs, the executive bureau of this federation and pressmen and women took part in this General Assembly. It ended with a very high spirit of satisfaction. All hope is not yet lost for the funds which were aimed at serving football since the former president, Mr. Tombi A Roko will be invited to give feedback on previous expenditures, funds and realisation(stadiums and sports infrastryctures) for a better way forward. Another remarkable resolution is the modification of the names of some football teams to morally and physically involve the entire population. The bureau of the Professional Football League has also been dissolved.

Other championships like Futsal and Beach Soccer will be launched soon. 48 million FCFA will also be offered to First Division clubs to better restructure their clubs as 100.000.000 remains the prize to be won by the best team at the end of the football season(championship).

Bamenda and Kousseri are going to be the first towns to benefit from the 10 stadiums to be built.

It is another episode of the love story between Samuel Eto’o fils and not only the 237 population but also the African continent and the world at large.
